We have now equipped our laboratory with a device for analyzing residual moisture and offer this test as standard. The reagent with the moisture is then sealed in an airtight container. We take several samples with a syringe and let them evaporate using the coulometric tritator. In this way, we determine the exact value of the residual moisture, from which the previously determined blank value of the reagent solution is subtracted. The weight of the residual moisture is given in mg\/A or mg\/V.<\/p><p>The need for such testing is great, as residual moisture in devices, such as coolers, can significantly affect performance.
