This was the experience of one of our customers during the coating of a turned part: An unknown filmic contamination discovered on the component after washing hindered the coating process.<\/p><p>Using\u00a0<a class=\"unterstrichen\" href=\"\/en\/instrumente\/nanophoton-raman-mikroskope\/\">Raman spectroscopy<\/a>\u00a0our\u00a0<a class=\"unterstrichen\" href=\"\/en\/analysenservice-mit-iso-17025-akkreditierung\/\">laboratory team<\/a>\u00a0examined the contamination and determined the origin of the unknown substance by comparing all the process additives involved: it was residues of process oil mixed with detergent (see following figure).
