We were recently challenged by a customer of our test laboratory. The task was to extract contaminant particles from 48 components and examine their origin and risk potential using SEM-EDX – results delivered within one week!
We recently donated a historic but still functional PSEM microscope from this era to the Nuremberg Electron Microscopy Museum. The museum showcases the history and applications of electron microscopy through a wide range of exhibits and was recently featured in a Bavarian Broadcasting program. We are delighted that our instrument has found a place in the exhibition and will continue to be used there.
Intraoperative margin assessment using X-rays has long been standard in breast cancer treatment in countries such as the USA, China, Japan, and the UK. Although the procedure can significantly reduce the number of repeat surgeries, the technology has been adopted only hesitantly in Germany.
To support our team, we are immediately looking for a committed laboratory employee (m/f/d) part-time (50% or more). Newcomers and career starters are very welcome.

The Project Aid Uganda eV in Büchenau facilitates sponsorships and thus school education for numerous children in this poor country. The association also implements numerous projects and aid measures locally.
To support our secretariat, we are looking for a dedicated office worker (m/f/d) on a part-time basis (up to 501 hours). Working hours by arrangement in the mornings and afternoons.
