A small fir branch made of copper sulfate for Advent

We wish you and your families a merry and blessed Christmas and a happy New Year 2026.

Please note that our testing laboratory will be closed from December 24, 2025 to January 6, 2026 and our office will only be available to a limited extent during this time.

This beautiful particle, shaped like a small fir twig, originates from a washing system used for industrial parts cleaning. SEM-EDX analysis revealed that its shape resulted from the crystal growth of copper sulfate (copper vitriol).
