Nakimera Maria, our sponsored child from Uganda, recently wrote us a letter and reported on her everyday life. We're always happy to hear from her and find out how she's doing.

She feels very comfortable in her school, which, in addition to technical education, also promotes the students' various talents, such as singing, traditional dance, football and volleyball. As part of a project, the children were allowed to make their own shoes, which Nakimera really enjoyed. The girl enjoys learning and is very motivated. She wants to become a doctor later and she is very happy that this opportunity is available to her.

For many children in Uganda, attending school and a later professional career are not a given; most families do not even have enough money for food and medicine. Support organizations such as: Projekthilfe Uganda e.V.. based in Büchenau. In addition to numerous local projects, the association provides sponsored children to ensure their school education. And this with great success: at the end of 2022, for example, 91 sponsored children have completed their vocational training and are now looking forward to a hopeful future. We also wish Nakimera Maria good luck and confidence for her future and a wonderful time at school.
